From Baltimore

695 North

exit  onto 795 (Northwest Expressway)

exit onto Rt 140 Westminster

Turn left onto Rt. 31 at blinking arrow light

travel 7 miles,

immediately past the 7-11 convenience store turn a SHARP Right onto Springdale Ave.

we are 5 houses up on the right side

It takes me about 45 minutes depending on traffic

From Frederick

I-70 East to Route 75 North

turn Right onto Route 26

you will be going thru Libertytown

almost immediately thru Libertytown turn left onto Route 31

travel on 31 for about 10 minutes

At the four way stop sign turn Right continuing on Rt 31

Bear Left (with Care) in front of the Brethren Center onto Springdale Avenue

       We are 5 houses up on the Right -look for the big Yellow house

It takes me about 30 to 40 minutes

From Washington, DC

Follow Route 97 North (Georgia Avenue) for about an hour

Turn left onto Route 26

Turn right onto Rt 31

Enter the town of New Windsor

At the four way stop signs, turn right continuing on Rt 31

Bear left with care at the Brethren Center onto Springdale Aveune

We are 5 houses up on the right

From the 495 Washington Beltway

exit onto 270

exit onto Route 27 North at the Father Hurley Blvd Exit 16A

take a right at  stop sign to get onto Rt 27

(Travel 7 miles)

Travel past Damascus, Mt Airy, Taylorsville

(Approx 20 Miles)

(At intersection of Rt 27 and Rt 26 Will be a Shell Station and 7-11 Store)

Turn left onto Rt 26

Turn right onto Rt 31

Enter the town of New Windsor

At the four way stop signs, turn right continuing on Rt 31

Bear left with care at the Brethren Center onto Springdale Aveune

We are 5 houses up on the right

It takes me one hour from New Windsor to Glen Echo Exit

Route 97 South

Left onto Route 140 West (Towards Taneytown  )

Get in left lane immediately

Left onto Route 31 at blinking arrow light

Travel 7 miles

Immediately past the 7-11 convenience store turn a SHARP right onto Springdale Avenue

It takes me about 40 minutes from New Windsor to Gettysburg

From BWI Airport

Follow signs exiting airport

Follow 195 and 95 West signs

Exit onto  95North at Exit 4A

On 95 you will have to get to the far LEFT to exit onto 695 West (Baltimore Beltway)

This is a LEFT EXIT and a little hairy to get all the way across the lanes)

The signs will say to TOWSON

You are now on the 695 Baltimore Beltway  going West

Take Exit 19 - 795 NorthWest Expressway

Take Exit 9 B to Westminster  Rt. 140

(travel time approx 20 mins)

Left onto Rt 31 at the blinking arrow

Pass 7-11 convenience store

Immediate right onto Springdale Avenue

We are 5 houses up on right

Coming Down Rt. 31 you will see this arrow indicating the road turns sharply left.          

You will be turning a hairpin rignt

onto Springdale Avenue 

Coming UP Rt 31 you will see this sign indicating the road turns sharply to the right.

You will be bearing to the left (with care) onto Springdale Ave.

Right after the arrow sign you will see the Brethren Center to your left.

Then you will see the fork and you will take the left (with care) onto Springdale Ave.

After you make that all important turn onto Springdale Avenue

(which everyone wants to miss because they say it looks like a driveway) this is what you will see.

You can see me straight ahead

Just look for my Yellow Turtle Inn sign and the big Yellow House.

If you look closely, you will see your Angel waving you Home!
